Overview

Sirius Matters harnesses the best technology, services, service providers and solutions for our clients and our consulting engagements. We work with organisations wanting to solve difficult business, audit, or cybersecurity problems or working to ensure compliance with obligations.

Sirius Matters makes this voluntary statement in support of s.14 of the Modern Slavery Act 2018 (Cth) (Aust) and has a zero tolerance to modern slavery, human trafficking and all forms of discriminatory and exploitative behaviour and treatment, whether within our own businesses or in the business(es) of those who supply us. Our stance as an equal opportunities employer, committed to creating and ensuring a non-discriminatory and respectful working environment for our people is made clear in behaviours and values; complying with applicable labor laws and regulations; implementing policies and practices that ensure fair pay, proper working conditions, and diversity within our workforce.

Our Risks for Modern Slavery Practices

While Sirius Matters can not know every facet of every partner or supplier’s operation, we do not enter into business with any organisation that knowingly supports, or is found to be involved in, slavery, servitude, or forced or compulsory labour. 

We have assessed the risk of human trafficking and slavery within our business and supply chains, and we believe the risk to be ‘low’. We base this opinion on several factors, including, but not limited to: 

• the nature of the services delivered
• services and engagements sold by our business
• financing and investment oversight, and,
• the nature of the entities and individuals who make up our suppliers. 

We are confident that we have adequately assessed and addressed the risk of human trafficking and slavery within our business and supply chains. 

To date, we have not received any report, nor become aware of any other indication, of any potential human trafficking, exploitative, or slavery within our businesses and supply chains. We will, of course, continue to monitor and assess this risk, at least annually, and improve upon the measures we take to ensure that this risk remains low.
